Tanya Freeman, LMSW, MDR, MPH, FACHE
Tanya Freeman, LMSW, MDR, MPH, FACHE is a clinician and experienced leader with a background in healthcare administration, consulting, conflict resolution and mediation, and organizational strategy. She has held senior leadership roles managing complex operations and has advised organizations on culture, leadership, and conflict resolution.
Tanya brings meaningful governance and advisory experience, including involvement in nonprofit initiatives in New York City and service on the Dean’s Search Committee at Yeshiva University. She has also taught graduate-level healthcare finance at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.
In her clinical work, Tanya specializes in trauma and relationships, with a deep commitment to helping individuals and communities grow in healthy, connected ways. She brings a thoughtful and grounded perspective to leadership—combining strategic thinking with emotional insight.
Tanya holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and education from Brandeis University, a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, a Master of Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, and a Master of Social Work from Yeshiva University. She is currently completing her PhD in Social Work at Yeshiva University.
Tanya’s presence on the board strengthens the community’s ability to build with intention, navigate complexity, and foster a culture of trust, connection, and ahavat Yisrael.
