Jessica Abaian serves as Secretary of the Board, bringing over a decade of experience in operations along with a deep commitment to building strong, connected Jewish communities. Professionally, Jessica has built her career around creating structure, streamlining processes, and ensuring clear communication across organizations. She is known for her attention to detail, reliability, and ability to keep complex initiatives running smoothly.

Jessica’s passion for community is reflected in her long-standing involvement in Jewish life. While living in Los Angeles, she served as PTO President at Gan Israel Chabad of Tarzana, where she helped strengthen parent engagement and support school programming. Since moving to Las Vegas, she has continued her involvement by serving on the board of the security group at Desert Torah Academy, contributing to the safety and well-being of the school community.

In her role as Secretary, Jessica focuses on maintaining strong communication, thoughtful organization, and supporting the synagogue’s continued growth. She is passionate about helping build a warm, welcoming environment where individuals and families feel connected and supported.

Jessica moved to Las Vegas six years ago with her four children from the Los Angeles Jewish community and is dedicated to helping create a vibrant and meaningful Jewish home for her children and the greater community.
