Ariel Tehrani
For Ariel, community and faith have always been the twin pillars of his personal and professional life. A lifelong participant in Jewish communal life, Ariel spent his entire adult life in Los Angeles, where he was a dedicated weekly attendee at shul. This consistent engagement shaped his understanding of the vital role a congregation plays in fostering connection and spiritual growth. Since moving to Las Vegas two years ago, Ariel has wasted no time in rooting himself and his family into the local community, serving as an active and invested member from the moment he arrived.
With over a decade of experience in the IT industry, Since 2023 Ariel brings his technical expertise to the non-profit sector. Now, as a member of the Magen David West board, he applies that same problem-solving mindset and professional rigor to the administration and security of the congregation, helping to ensure a stable foundation for its future.
Ariel’s journey through various congregations in Los Angeles, including Magen David and the Young Sephardic Community Center (YSCC), was driven by a search for a community that prioritized welcoming values over internal politics. He eventually found a home at Kehilat Bnei Torah (KBT), where the Rabbi’s leadership and the warmth of the members truly resonated with his family.
Ariel is also a Zionist. He does not just support the state of Israel, but incorporates his love and appreciation for the existence of a Jewish state into every aspect of his life, including his commitment to Magen David West.
Alongside his wife and their three children Ariel is committed to building a vibrant, well-connected future for his neighbors. Whether he is overseeing technical projects for the board, listening to the concerns of the community, or attending weekly services, he remains a dedicated presence, proud to call this community home.
