Achiya Yaffe, Esq. is an attorney with a background in administrative law, legal analysis, organizational strategy, and governance. He currently serves as Counsel at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Board of Veterans’ Appeals, where he works on complex appeals requiring thoughtful judgment, careful analysis, and a strong sense of fairness and responsibility. Achiya brings meaningful leadership and service experience shaped by years of involvement in academic, professional, and communal settings. At Yeshiva University, he served as President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and captain of the men’s soccer team, and later served as Vice President of the Jewish Law Society while earning his law degree. He brings a thoughtful and grounded perspective to communal leadership, with a deep appreciation for integrity, shared responsibility, and the importance of building a shul that is welcoming, principled, and built to serve the community with care and purpose.
